Tarot Smartphone Clamp Transmitter Bracket - TL2971 (Futaba)

Lots of drones are now compatible with smartphone apps letting you remotely pilot them, view live video and telemetry. If you are using a smartphone we think it is best to mount it onto your radio transmitter so all of your controls are at your fingertips. This adjustable smartphone clamp from Tarot is designed to do just that. It attaches to the neck strap bracket found on most radio controls and the spring-loaded mechanism of the clamp holds onto your phone securely. Unlike other more permanent mounts, this style of clamp allows you to remove your device when you have finished using it as a ground station, and if you have a protective case for your phone, you needn’t remove it to attach.

Two versions of the clamp are available; TL2971 is designed for transmitters like the Futaba 14SG with a round neck strap attachment and TL2972 is designed for radios with a square neck strap attachment. Both mounts attached to vertical neck strap hooks, so if your transmitter has a horizontal hook (like the FrSky Q X7s radio as pictured) you will need an adapter – here.
