Here we have Diatone's Flash Bang Series of 2812 Addressable LED Boards. There are available in a variety of sizes to suit different applications. All of the variants use 2812 5volt RGB LEDs which can be programmed via BetaFlight / Cleanflight. If you just want to keep it simple you can assign a solid colour. Alternatively you can do lots of interesting things like programming flashing colour patterns to reflect arming status, flight modes, braking, battery status and so on.
