This is the new FRsky Taranis Plus radio which includes a bigger battery, and haptic vibration feedback. It also ships with the latest Frsky EU LBT (listen before talk) firmware.

The combination of the open source OpenTx firmware along a excellent radio module allow you to set this radio up just the way you want. With 2 sliders, 2 twist knobs, and 8 programmable switches, along with the ultra smooth quad bearing gimbals, you will never be short of functionality.
The FRsky Taranis Plus also includes voice alerts which can be customised for things like countdown timers, low voltage alerts, landing gear down warnings etc.; you can even program your own voice if you want to! The built-in microSD card reader offers plenty of memory storage and the USB port allows you to configure and update the software of your Taranis when they become available. The other great feature is that if you ever want to upgrade the transmitter to something like the OpenLRS 433mhz system, you can by simply swapping the transmitter module. Other features include a backlit LCD display.
Please note that the Taranis X9D radios we sell now ship with the EU compliant firmware due to new regulations. This means that if you want to use it with any receivers that are running older firmware you will need to upgrade the firmware on your receivers in order to bind with them. If you need any help in doing this please let us know.
