Royal Model Energy 60

The Royal-Model Energy is a 60" wingspan, all moulded fibreglass slope racer.

To all intents and purposes Energy is a scaled down F3f style glider, with every aspect of the design and construction, carefully aligned to fullfill the performance requirement.

Carbon fibre has been used for local reinforcement in both fuselage and wing, the latter being of HN-354 aerofoil section, chosen for it's extended speed range and positive handling characteristics. Carbon provides strength and stiffness along the entire wing spar and the precision cut control surfaces are cleanly hinged for excellent deflection straight out of the box.

Radio functions required are aileron and elevator - with computer TX mixing recommended for spoileron operation. The wing servo wells and covers will suit a good variety of servo choices, and both fin and stabiliser are securely attached by the same single bolt to aid portability.

Energy even looks fast on the ground, and in the air provides scintilating speed and maneuverability for those looking for a really dynamic flying experience.
