PCM MINI-Race 950mm Glider

MINI-Race is a 950mm span compact slope soarer from PODIVIN COMPOSITE MODELLBAU designed to give maximum performance and fun on the slope.

Beautifully crafted using oodles of lovely carbon, MINI-Race is high quality, tough, stiff and light.

Controlled by elevator and ailerons, MINI-Race feels most comfortable in mild to moderate conditions. Using camber/reflex it delivers great efficiency for both thermal flying and sparkling slope aeros.

Construction:

• Fuselage: CFR, all three parts (boom, pod, nose cone)
• Wing: Shell made of balsa-sandwich with carbon fabric. Spars are carbon, with the shear web made of balsa planked with fibreglass
• Stabilizer: Shell made of balsa-sandwich with carbon fabric

Please note that a Kevlar 2.4GHz friendly nose is available to special order.  

Pre-fabrication:

• Ailerons are cut and mounted with adhesive tape
• Screw mounting for wing is pre-fabricated
• Control surfaces on V-tail are cut and also mounted with adhesive tape
• Airframe components (radio/servo board, pushrods, levers, etc.) are all included in the kit
