RunCam Split 3 Micro FPV Camera / 1080P 60 FPS HD DVR
Runcam improves the Split yet again, keeping all the great features of RunCam Split 2 but this time miniaturising it further. The main processing board is the same size as a typical tiny whoop FC (29x29mm) with a M2 20x20mm mounting hole pattern and for the first time they now offer the camera module in two sizes: Micro (19x19mm) and Nano (14x14mm). The Micro cam is fit with a M12 threaded lens and the Nano with a M8 threaded lens, so both can have their lenses changed and refocused if required. With the size reduction also comes a weight reduction, the Micro coming in at 14grams and the Nano only 10.5grams! Other improvements include a stronger flexible ribbon cable and optimizing the TV out (FPV feed) to reduce unwanted ripple effects.
For those that aren't familiar with the RC Split camera series, it's basically a camera that does everything. Instead of having an FPV camera and a separate action camera like a GoPro on your drone, all you need is the RunCam Split. It does both; it records great quality HD footage at 60FPS while simultaneously outputting a low latency video feed, so you can get real-time video to your FPV goggles. The benefit is not only more cash in your wallet, but a real weight saving which can yield greater flight time and performance.
The RunCam Split 3 is now more versatile than ever being perfect for tiny quads through to X-Class quads or those looking to save weight.
