RunCam 3S HD Wide Angle FPV Action Camera (1080p / 60fps)

The RunCam 3 box style action camera is back and now even better!

If you missed your chance to buy the original RunCam 3, you'll be pleased to know that the RC3 has returned, now called the RunCam 3S. Like before, it has been designed primarily for FPV pilots, although it can be used as a sports action camera too. The release of this new camera comes at a good time. With GoPro discontinuing the Hero5 Session; options for a quality HD recording camera that is drone friendly were limited.

The RC-3S fills that gap. Its small form factor like the GoPro session makes it ideal for FPV drones where space is at a premium and many quad-frames already come with a camera mount to suit. It's also been built with FPV use in mind. It uses replaceable gorilla glass 3 to protect the front lens and the camera’s casing has been refined to make it stronger and easier to repair.

As to be expected the image quality is brilliant and improved over the original RC3. It boasts 1080P 60FPS video and an exceptional Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) algorithm to get the best picture under any light conditions.

The camera also has great connectivity. It comes with a built-in WiFi module to connect to the mobile APP allowing live preview, video playback and ability to change the camera's parameters. It also supports a AV video output for use with regular FPV transmitters.

Finally the camera now features a removable battery, so you can buy spare ones to keep you recording for longer.
