Reviews:

The HDV-1 FPV action camera from DYS is a high quality, feature-packed camera with an affordable price tag.

The camera is feature rich. It takes videos, photographs and time lapses, with no fewer than 10 modes to choose from. There is even a mode to invert the video output, so the camera can be mounted upside down without issue. The camera also supports external shutter triggering and you can switch between NTSC and Pal at the flick of a switch.

You've probably thought that the HDV-1 looks like a GoPro and it does because it has the same form factor as one. Being the same size as a GoPro makes it compatible with many GoPro accessories, including brushless gimbals. Amongst many, it works perfectly with the Tarot T-2D, the DYS Smart and the new DYS Marcia (featured in the picture gallery).

The HDV-1 not only records stunning high resolution HD footage onto a micro SD card, it's also a fantastic FPV camera. Importantly for FPV use, it features a live video out and it comes with a cable to connect it to your FPV video transmitter. Unlike many other action cameras the HDV-1 can still record whilst broadcasting video.
