It would also come in handy for those building custom ground stations (compatible with 2.4GHz, 5.8Ghz and also the TBS crossfire). It comes pre-wired with plenty of cable and also a super sticky adhesive disc. If you don't wish to stick it permanently, you don't need to as the base is magnetic.
