This Pixhawk 2.1 with the Edison carrier board can be used without an Edison fitted and will be equivalent of the standard Pixhawk 2.1 based on functionality, you may wish to buy this if the standard version is out of stock, you will pay a little more but will have the option to add Edison in the future if not required yet.

All the Standard Pixhawk 2.1 features and including the GPS (Here GNSS), the Pixhawk 2.1 with Intel Edison carrier board allows you to attach an Intel Edison (Intel Edison not included)
